Add an Issue

Add issues

Functionality overview

There are two ways to add an issue: on the Issues overview page and on the Test Results page.

We recommended adding issues based on Test Results. This method lets you filter items based on risk, requirement, and test case.

Using the issues overview page

To open the Issues overview page, click Resolve on the header. Click the Add Issue button in the top right corner of the page.

A pop-up box displays. Enter property information.

Using the test results page

You can create issues based on test results. This feature lets you relate multiple test results to one issue. It also gives you more tracking options in the testing process. Issues created from test results can, for example, be filtered according to related risks or requirements.

On the header, click Track > Test Cases or Track > Test Runs. On the overview page, locate the case or run you want to edit and then click its name.

The sidebar displays on the right side of the page. It shows test results.

Click the Bug icon on a test results line. A menu displays. Select Add Issue. A pop-up box displays. Enter property information.
