The test cases report gives you real-time insights into the outcome and progress of your test cases. You can access the test cases report by clicking Report > Test Cases in the header.
Test Cases Report Filters
You can use filters to find test cases matching your search parameters. In the test cases report overview, the filter icon to the left allows you to open the filters sidebar.
The following filters are available for this report:
Shows reports for test cases with the selected result category: pass, neutral, failed, and blocking (visually represented by four types of emojis).
- Test Suite
Only shows reports for test cases from the selected test suite(s).
Only shows reports for test cases from the selected milestone(s).
Shows reports for test cases linked with the selected requirement(s).
Only shows reports for test cases linked with the selected linked risk(s).
Shows reports for test cases linked with the selected application(s).
- With Test Runs
When activated, reports for test cases are shown that are part of a test run.
- Test Results With - Without
Shows reports for test cases with or without test results.
Shows reports for test cases marked with the selected tag(s).
You can use the cog button on the top right of the filters to show or hide certain filter fields. What is more, you can save your preference filters so you can restore your frequently used combinations at all times. Select the cog button to the left and select ‘Save Filter…’.
A pop-up will appear allowing you to set a recognizable name for your saved filter.
Choose Reset to deactivate all set filters.
Result Category Chart
The test result category distribution is represented in the test result Category pie chart. The chart shows the distribution of the last outcomes of test cases over the result categories. Test Cases with no related test results are not shown in this pie chart.
Default result categories are: Pass, Caution, Fail, and Blocked. It's possible custom result categories have been added to the project. If selected as test results, these categories are shown as well in this pie chart.
By using the filters in the sidebar, you can change the scope of this pie chart in order to match your preference.
Test Cases Progress Chart
The test cases progress distribution is represented in the test cases Progress pie chart. The chart shows how many test cases have an outcome and how many test cases have no outcome.
Progress categories are: With outcome and Without outcome.
Top 10 Related Issues
Below the category and the type pie charts, a list of top 10 test cases with issues is displayed. An overview is given what test cases in your project have most issues related to them. This helps you to gain insight in what test cases have not yet been performed successfully.
By using the filters in the sidebar, you can change the scope of this list in order to match your preference.
