Connect your favourite apps to TestMonitor! TestMonitor offers an integration with several apps. For example, automatically create issues in Azure DevOps and Jira or get Slack notifications when a Test Run is completed.
Use the cog wheel in the header to open the Settings.
At the left side, you’ll see a categorized list of configuration sections. The fifth section is Integrations & Migrating. In the underlying section Integrations you can integrate your TestMonitor environment with an app by clicking Add to project.
You'll be forwarded to the Integrations page of your active project. Here you can integrate your TestMonitor environment with the selected app by selecting Connect.
Integrating with JIRA
To configure Jira, first enter the base URL of your Jira instance (e.g. https://company.atlassian.net). Then enter your user name and API access token. You can read more about generating Jira access tokens via this link.
Once you have entered your Jira instance, name, and token, you can choose to connect one of your Jira projects to the current TestMonitor project. That is all, your Jira environment is now connected to TestMonitor!
From this point on all newly created issues in the current TestMonitor project will automatically be added to your Jira project. When a newly created issue in TestMonitor is updated this update will also appear in Jira.
Whenever you create an issue in TestMonitor a new issue will automatically be created in your connected Jira Project. The issue details from TestMonitor that will be copied to your Jira issue include the issue's attachments, summary and description.
An issue in TestMonitor that is linked to Jira will be updated automatically when the TestMonitor issue name, description or attachments change.
Viewing linked issues
Issues in TestMonitor that are linked to a Jira issue have a reference displayed in the right top corner of the issue detail page or on the right side of the issue overview. Clicking on the reference will redirect you to the issue in Jira.
