In some cases, it can be useful to create a test run based on an existing run. For example: a rerun based on the original settings, with a new start/end-date. TestMonitor allows you to create a rerun of a test run, saving you from creating similar test runs over and over again.
Test runs have many properties, including relationships to other objects, like test cases and users. A rerun is an exact copy of its original, except for its test run code and create / update date. This means that all relationships are copied as well, saving you from reassigning test cases or users.
To rerun a test run go to the test run overview page.
Now select the three dots ... to the right of a test run and select the option rerun.
A confirmation pop-up is shown, asking you for a name of the rerun and a new start- and enddate.
Click Rerun again to create the test run. You can find the rerun in the test runs overview.
