Issue Sidebar

View all issue information including a full audit trail.

Functionality overview

The Issue sidebar shows most of the information that is on the Issue Details page. The main difference is layout. The Issue sidebar presents a more condensed view.

To open the Issue sidebar, click Resolve on the header. The Issues overview page displays. Click the name of an issue. The Issue sidebar displays on the right side of the page.


Reviewing menu tabs

The Issue sidebar has four tabs:

  • Details

    Shows issue details like Status, Impact, Tags, and related Attachments.

  • Comments

    Shows all comments.

  • Tasks

    Shows all related tasks.

  • Test Results

    Shows related test results, if available. 

Editing the sidebar

Use the sidebar to edit an issue. Move the cursor over a field. A Pencil icon displays. Click a field and then edit the text. You can also link versions that the issue affects and the version with the fixed issue.

Click the floppy disk icon to save, or the X icon to cancel and discard changes.
