Customize test run settings.
Test runs allow you to assign test cases to one or more testers. Test runs are grouped into milestones.
Each milestone has its own set of test runs. Make sure a milestone exists, or create a milestone to continue.
Click Plan in the header. On the Milestones overview page, click the name of a milestone or the arrow button. The Test Runs overview page displays.
You need to be an Administrator or have planning permissions to access test runs. Consult the Administrator if the test runs are not available.
The Test Runs overview page provides a list of planned test runs for a specific milestone. The page shows the code, name, status, start date, end date, and progress.
The Filter icon on the left side of the page opens the filters side panel. Use the Search field next to the Filter icon to find an item that matches your search parameters.
Click the Cog button on the right side of the page to edit the column display.
Customizing test run filter settings
Use filters to find items that match your search parameters.
The filters sidebar on the left side of the page provides the following:
Shows test runs with a specific state: Expired, Active, or Planned.
Starts From - To
Shows test runs that start during a specific time frame.
Ends From - To
Shows test runs that end during a specific time frame.
Shows test runs marked as a priority.
Shows test runs linked to a specific test environment.
Shows test runs assigned to the user.
Shows test runs linked to tags defined for test cases via the Define menu.
With Test Results
Shows test runs with test results.
Shows test runs with assigned users.
With Test Cases
Shows test runs with linked test cases.
Shows complete and incomplete test runs.
Updated From - To
Shows test runs updated during a specific time frame.
Trashed Test Runs
Shows trashed test runs.
Click the Cog button next to the Filter icon to open a menu. Use the checkboxes to hide or unhide filter fields. Click Save filter to restore frequently used combinations at all times.
A pop-up box displays. Enter a filter name.
Choose Reset to deactivate all set filters.
Use multiple filters to combine several criteria like Priority and With Test Results.
Configuring column display
Code, Name, Status, Period, Users and Priority are the default columns on the Test Runs overview page. You can hide or unhide columns by clicking the Cog button on the right side of the page.
Other available columns are Progress, Test Cases, Completed At, Test Environment, Tags, Created, and Updated.
Click Reset to default to go back to the default display.
