Connect TestMonitor to 2000+ apps.
Zapier is a web automation app. You can build Zaps that automate processes using triggers, actions, and conditions. For example, tie the “Issue created” trigger to a “Trello create card” action - and you effectively build a Trello integration in minutes.
Zapier supports more than 2000 applications. You can mix and match triggers and actions to automate just about any task.
If you choose TestMonitor as the triggering app, you can base your Zaps on two triggers: when a new issue is added and when a new test result is created. Depending on the application you connect to, this trigger can have numerous actions.
You can connect TestMonitor to another triggering app as well. The TestMonitor events you can choose are: find a project, find a test result, and find an issue.
- You must have a TestMonitor administrator account.
- You must have a Zapier account.
Installation and configuration
- On the top right corner of the TestMonitor dashboard, click the Cog. The Settings page displays.
- Click Integrations on the left menu.
- Click the Go to zapier.com button on the Zapier panel. The Zapier website opens in a new browser tab.
Sign in to your Zapier account and click Connect to 2,000+ apps to start the configuration.
First, configure the app that triggers the action. Select TestMonitor and choose the trigger event (e.g. a new issue).
Second, enter a TestMonitor account. Enter the name of your TestMonitor environment.
Third, click the Yes, Continue button and choose the TestMonitor project you want to connect to.
Finally, test the connection. Zapier tests the connection and looks for an issue or test result in TestMonitor.
Configuring the app
Now configure the app that acts on the trigger. You can choose any application. After you complete all the steps in the app configuration, test your Zap.
If the test goes well, you see the message Zap is ready - now turn it on! at the bottom of the page. Toggle on the switch next to the message to turn on the Zap. Your Zap is now working.
